Full suspension mountain bikes offer the rider more stability and control because the bike has suspension in both the front and the rear. A number of manufacturers offer full suspension mountain bikes in their product line, and we'll take a look at some of those bikes here.
When deciding between full suspension mountain bikes and hardtails, full suspension mountain bikes usually win out because of comfort. You do, however, lose some efficiency with pedaling. Reviewers comment that the Specialized Stumpjumper FSR XC is lighter than other full suspension mountain bikes and were consistently impressed by its performance.
