Uwharrie National Forest ponders fees
Notebook The Uwharrie National Forest near Albemarle is proposing to charge fees for use of four recreation areas in the 50,000-acre forest.The areas are Flintlock Shooting Range ($3 a day, $30 annual pass), Uwharrie Horse Trail ($5 per rider per day, $30 annual pass), Uwharrie Mountain Bike Trail ($3 per rider per day, $20 annual pass) and Kings Mountain Point Day Use Area picnic shelter
