Heart of a champion
Sarah Shepard was already an accomplished athlete. The Glenwood local was named an All-American steeplechase runner as a sophomore at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Her name was always near the top of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Cross Country and Track Championship
