City council OKs funding to finish hike-bike trail
The Lufkin City Council at its meeting Tuesday unanimously approved a funding request to complete the hiking/biking/walking trail at Kit McConnico Park. The request for funding for $8,000 came from the Deep East Texas Trail and Route Access Coalition (DETTRAC), and the money will be given from the general fund of the city
