Landowner offers acres for network of rec trails
Thanks to the generosity of an aging but indefatigable ski bum, outdoor enthusiasts may someday be able to scamper through Parleys Canyon on a new eight-mile trail. On foot, by bike, and yes, on skis. The vision of Ira Sachs, who at 69 still lives on Utah's slopes and trails, is to donate a portion of his 1,000 acres as a conservation easement for a new generation to enjoy Parleys'
