Crazy quails, teensy fawns, but no big bucks on scout trip
We entered Shasta-Trinity National Forest on an old logging road, with no sign of anybody around for miles. I shifted my old, beat-up mountain rig into low gear, four-wheel-drive, and then crawled up a hill for a few miles over a procession of bowling-ball...
