SUPERMAN star BRANDON ROUTH was rescued by two middle-aged women after a spill on his mountain bike. The Man of Steel went flying on a steep canyon outside Los Angeles. As battered Brandon, 26, lay gasping for breath in a bush, two female hikers ran over to help. They gave him some water and words of comfort, before Brandon worked up the energy to push his damaged bike back home. +++++ PETER KAY
