Weaving a web of trails Campaign kicks off today in Charlotte for network of walking and biking paths Dan Huntley Ruth Shaw calls it a "big, hairy, audacious goal" to link 15 Carolinas counties by 400 miles of trails and greenways in something called the Carolina Thread Trail. Trail details will be unveiled today at a 650-guest luncheon at Charlotte's Marriott City Center where trail organizers
