Cold mountain: Death on Everest

How could they do it? A man lies dying in a cave, high on the highest mountain in the world. His face, fingers and toes are blackened by frostbite. His mind is muddled and his blood being thickened by lack of oxygen in the rarefied, agonisingly cold air. He wants to sleep. Beside him is the frozen, preserved body of a climber who died in the same slow way in the same rocky tomb nine years ago.
